State Property Agency Puts 10 Former Sanatoriums in Tskaltubo Up for Auction

The National Agency of State Property has announced the auction sale of 10 former sanatorium buildings located in Tskaltubo. The privatization covers a total area of 433,309 sq.m.

The sanatoriums put up for auction are: "Rkinigzeli", "Intourist", "Medea", "Savane", the former Balneological, "Aia", "Gelati", "Imereti", "Geologi" and "Megobroba".

According to the auction terms, some of them have been granted the status of an immovable cultural heritage monument, and the requirements established by the Georgian Law on Cultural Heritage apply to them.

The conditions state: "In the event of further development of the immovable property, including planning of any work provided for by legislation, the relevant actions must be carried out in accordance with the procedure established by legislation and, in cases provided for by law, agreed with the relevant administrative bodies, including the LEPL National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia".
