GTU Students' Exsul Platform Named TBC Bank Choice at UNI4VERSE – FINEDU 2026

Students Davit Greve and Mirian Putkaradze from the Faculty of Informatics and Management Systems of the Georgian Technical University presented Exsul, a business management and accounting platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses, at the final stage of the UNI4VERSE – FINEDU 2026 competition. The project received high ratings from the jury and partner organizations. The team was mentored by Professor Nona Otkhozoria.
The competition was held on the initiative of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), in partnership with the National Bank's FinEdu platform. Considering the development prospects of Exsul, the representatives of Founder University became interested and offered the team business mentoring. The student team was also named the TBC Bank choice and received the opportunity for close cooperation with the bank.
Participation in the competition was preceded by an internal university selection stage held at GTU, where students presented their innovative ideas and technological projects. On October 26–30, intensive trainings and a mentoring program were held for participants at the FabLab space of GTU. It covered artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), software development, entrepreneurship and prototyping.
According to Nona Otkhozoria, Exsul is a management and accounting system designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), which unites inventory, order, logistics, finance and business analytics management in a single digital space. Its concept is based on the principle of centralized management of business processes.
Mirian Putkaradze says that Exsul is built on the Rust programming language, which is linked to the system's high performance and efficient use of resources. The platform incorporates cybersecurity mechanisms at the level of quantum encryption. One of its distinctive features is Offline mode: the system works even without internet and ensures synchronization of up to 40 devices without external servers. The platform is compatible with Windows and Android and fully integrates with the RS.ge and TBC Bank systems.
According to Davit Greve, the team worked under the mentorship of Nona Otkhozoria on refining the project concept, showcasing functional capabilities and defining business potential.
Dean of the faculty, Professor Taliko Zhvania, congratulated the students on the achievement and thanked Nona Otkhozoria. According to her, this result shows how important an academic environment is where students apply the knowledge they acquire in practice.
