One of the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Salome Samadashvili, responded to the Constitutional Court's consideration of the lawsuit on banning opposition parties. In her words, it has become clear to Georgian society that the only force attempting a constitutional coup in the country is the ruling party Georgian Dream.

Samadashvili said: "The Constitutional Court proceedings have made two things very clear to Georgian society. First, the only party that actually violates the Georgian Constitution and tries to carry out a constitutional coup in the country through the Constitutional Court is the ruling force. Second, I think society has clearly seen the difference between the opposition and the government in terms of professional, moral and general political preparedness. I think it was a very big mistake by Bidzina Ivanishvili to launch this process, because whatever decision the court makes, it will be very damaging for the ruling regime. You can ban parties, but you cannot ban the Georgian people, and the Georgian people have probably become even more convinced after this session that political change in the country is necessary and inevitable".

Regarding the European Union enlargement report, Samadashvili said that she expects the report to be even more critical of the current Georgian government.

In her words: "I expect the enlargement report to be even more critical of the current Georgian government, because over the past year we have seen only regress in all directions. This will be especially painful against the backdrop of the same report becoming even clearer for successful countries that conscientiously fulfill their obligations as candidate countries for EU membership. It can be said that there will be action plans tailored specifically to them, which will accelerate their integration into the European Union, and once again we will see that under Ivanishvili's government Georgia is losing a historic chance".
