Lavrov: Zelensky Will Have to Travel to Moscow to Meet Putin
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, if he wants to meet Vladimir Putin, must come to Moscow. He made the statement at a press conference in Atlanta, after the first day of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting ended.
According to Lavrov, the Russian president is ready to meet Zelensky.
"Putin has repeatedly said that, despite the last six years of history since Zelensky came to power, he is still ready to meet him. He made this statement after Zelensky called for a face-to-face meeting. President Putin responded that if Zelensky wants a meeting, then he should come to Moscow, and we will ensure his security", Lavrov said.
