Japaridze: Political Activity to Be Banned for Large Group of Society

"Coalition for Change" leader Zurab Japaridze published a post on social media. According to him, it is not several parties that are being banned, but de facto political activity is being banned for a large group of society that in recent years has been involved in public life in some form.
Japaridze writes that it is important to see the picture correctly so that false expectations are not created, and to continue the fight everywhere and in every form where this will be possible.
According to his assessment, the combined result of the lawsuit sent to the Constitutional Court, the amendments to the Law on Political Associations of Citizens, the Criminal Code and the Law on Grants will be as follows: the leaders of all four coalitions/parties that took part in the 2024 elections will end up in prison or abroad; the 600 people on the lists of these four coalitions/parties, as well as the "Federalists", will de facto be banned from political activity.
According to Japaridze, the same applies to all people who have worked in the civil sector over the past 8 years and have received a grant or salary from a foreign organization at least once. According to him, he does not know how many thousands or tens of thousands of people are in this group. According to him, if anyone creates a new party and even one person from these 600 or from this group joins it, this party will also be banned.
Japaridze notes that all of this is not written so explicitly, and that those who bow down or help paint the picture of democracy may be granted exceptions. According to him, taken together, Ivanishvili is moving toward this picture.
According to him, this can be stopped and the evil system can be dismantled. Japaridze calls on people to see the picture correctly, not to have false expectations, to stop lamenting and to continue the fight everywhere they can.
At the end of the post, Japaridze invites people to TSU on October 25 at 19:00.
