Shareholders of the sanctioned television station Imedi, Vasil Kalandarishvili and Natia Songhulashvili, the acting head of the station's news service, sold their individual 10 percent stakes for symbolic prices of 100 lari each. The shareholders were replaced by Prime Media Global LLC, which holds a 50 percent stake.

Under the new redistribution, the television station officially belongs to four people: Mariam Lomidze, Irakli Chikhladze, Maia Chigoshvili and Magda Anikashvili. Each of them holds 25 percent. Magda Anikashvili is the host of "Imedi LIVE", while Irakli Chikhladze hosts "Imedi's Week".

Imedi was sold by Irakli Rukhadze in February, two weeks before the United Kingdom imposed sanctions, for 1000 lari. At that time, the station's owner became Prime Media Global LLC.

On October 15, another 52 percent stake in a sanctioned television station, also for 1000 lari, was sold by Viktor Japaridze.
